Weight and health management can be such a challenge for some people, but when it comes to understanding how it works, there are three undisputed truths that need to work together and can not function alone:
- An evaluation and understanding that the foods you eat play a role in your stress, sleep, gut health, thyroid, and hormone balance – these directly effect metabolic function, chronic inflammation and disease and ultimately your weight loss efforts
- Amount of calories you consume from these foods– this directly effects weight gain, weight loss, and weight management
- How your calories break down into protein, carb, and fat numbers – this directly effects body composition
My Philosophy and My Mission
My Philosophy is simple: eat real, whole-unprocessed food, not too much, consisting of high quality proteins, colorful plants, variety of fruits, nuts & seeds and healthy fats. It’s important to also consider which foods make you “happy” and feed your soul. By “crowding out” the less nutrient-dense foods on your plate and “crowding in” more high volume foods your weight management just gets easier. There are no restrictions, no “Bad” foods or “Good” foods…there are simply “better for you foods” with optimal health benefits, but that’s not to say that you can’t have your cake and eat it too. Life is about enjoying the journey and food is part of that journey!

I help my clients come up with sustainable lifestyle routines and practices which are inline with their specific goals. I calculate my clients’ personalized numbers so that they can have an understanding of energy balance and portion sizes for their weight goals. I educate my clients in choosing the best foods to eliminate inflammation and improve gut health so they can succeed in looking and feeling their best.
